We're able to book private tours to any winery or vineyard on Long Island. Private tours can also be booked to stop at multiple wineries on one trip. For the most enjoyable and relaxing experience, we highly recommend stopping at two vineyards on your private wine tour.
Please keep in mind that during the most popular weekends, some wineries may be unable to accommodate any additional bookings. In order to assure that our guests are able to visit their preferred wineries, we recommend booking private tours as far in advance as possible.
Some of our favorite and most popular winery and vineyard choices include Duck Walk North Vineyard, Long Island Spirits, Pugliese Vineyard, Lenz Winery, and Osprey's Dominion.
Please note that some vineyards have a maximum headcount cap due to COVID-19. Our experienced vineyard partnerships team will assure that you visit the best vineyards that can accommodate a group of your size.
We are able to pick your group up (and drop you off) at a location of your request! We serve all of Long Island, all five New York City boroughs, Northern New Jersey, and many of the surrounding areas. Please be sure to kindly include your groups pick up and drop off location when you contact us to book your wine tour.
Due to a wide variety of dietary restrictions, we do not provide lunch on our wine tours. However, there is food available for purchase at select vineyards. We also encourage you to bring your own food, snacks, lunch, drinks, etc. on board your limousine or party bus. Your vehicle will also arrive stocked with ice, cups, water, and napkins for your convenience.
This is totally up to you and your group! Our private wine tours are fully customizable, so you can let us know when you would like to be picked up and dropped off based on the needs, location, and specific requests of your group.
The most popular pick up time for our private wine tours is 10:00am. Groups that will be departing from further away from the vineyards (such as New York City), typically prefer a 10:00am pick up time. This would get you to your first vineyard stop at around 12:00pm noon.
A typical private wine tour lasts about 8 hours total round-trip, so you would return home at about 6:00pm if you had a 10:00am pick up time.
Of course! You are permitted to bring your own food, snacks, lunch, drinks, etc. on your limousine or party bus. Your vehicle will also arrive stocked with ice, cups, water, and napkins for your convenience.
Private wine tour duration will vary based upon your request, itinerary, number of vineyard stops, and the location that your group will be departing from. A typical wine tour will last somewhere between 7-9 hours round-trip, including transportation to and from the vineyards. The average wine tour lasts about 8 hours total round-trip.
Our vehicle fleet is the ultimate in comfort and modern luxury. Our state of the art party buses are equipped with all of the amenities of a modern limousine, and can seat up to 60 passengers comfortably. There's truly no better way to enjoy your trip to the vineyards in comfort, safety, and style.
Our party buses are equipped with WiFi, Bluetooth, TVs, wrap-around leather limo-style seating, booth and table seating, ice coolers and bars, high-end sound systems, decorative lighting, and in some cases, a restroom.
We also offer luxury limousines, SUVs, coach buses, shuttle buses, town cars, and more. Our extensive fleet of vehicles allows us to accommodate groups of any size.
Gratuity is not included in the cost of your wine tour. We kindly request that our guests tip their chauffeur based on the quality of service they receive on their tour. This allows us to ensure the highest quality of service for our guests at all times.
NY Wine Tours takes the COVID-19 pandemic very seriously, and the safety and health of our customers, passengers, and staff continue to be our number one priority. As such, we are employing all of the necessary and recommended precautions and safety procedures, as well as closely monitoring the latest guidelines from the CDC and WHO.
Nightly Cleaning of all of our vehicles
All vehicles are deep-cleaned nightly, both inside and out. The areas that are cleaned, disinfected, and wiped down include but are not limited to:
▪Passenger overhead compartments
▪All hand and grab rails
▪Seats and headrests
After nightly cleanings, we also use an electrostatic spraying technique that ensures 360-degree coverage with a commercial-grade, FDA approved disinfectant which kills 99.9% of germs, bacteria and viruses. This procedure takes place on a nightly basis to ensure the safest environment possible for our passengers, employees and staff.
Vehicle Cleaning In-between Trips
In-between trips, we will be spraying the key points in all of our vehicles down with an FDA approved, commercial-grade disinfectant. These key points include but are not limited to:
Recommended Protocols for Passenger Safety
1.All passengers and staff must wear a mask or face covering upon entering the vehicle. This mask or face covering must be worn at all times while inside the vehicle.
2.Gloves are optional, but recommended by the CDC as a precaution to prevent contact with germs.
3.All passengers must keep their area clean. Any garbage (including face coverings and gloves) must be disposed in the appropriate waste basket in the front or rear of the vehicle.
4.Passengers must stay seated in the vehicle at all times and practice safe social distancing whenever possible.
5.Please be kind and respectful to all passengers upon entering the vehicle.
6.For the safety of our passengers and staff, we ask that if you are experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms to not enter the vehicle.
7.To ensure the safety of our staff, we are asking if our passengers can assist with loading their own belongings into the vehicle whenever possible.
8.Passengers should regularly use hand sanitizers when possible.
If you have any questions, comments, or concerns regarding our COVID-19 procedures, or if you would like to speak to us directly, please email us at email@example.com.
Our partnered vineyards can accommodate for rain, so our tours take place rain or shine!
In the extremely unlikely event that we are forced to cancel a tour due to weather, your tour will be rescheduled to a later date and your vehicle deposit will be transferred and applied accordingly to the new date of your tour.
A professional chauffeur will safely transport you to and from the vineyards from a location of your choosing. There will be a greeter at each vineyard upon arrival to assist with your tasting reservations.
It is our number one priority to provide our customers with the safest transportation in the industry. We employ only industry-certified drivers that are 19A registered with the Department of Motor Vehicles and are thoroughly trained to ensure your group's comfort and safety at all times. All of our drivers have a certified commercial drivers license and all of our vehicles are thoroughly inspected by the Department of Transportation on a regular basis. As an added measure of safety and security, our vehicles are also GPS tracked, and we monitor our chauffeurs' driving habits in real-time to ensure a safe trip for your group.
You are not required to spend any additional money at the vineyards, as our wine tours typically include wine tastings at each vineyard stop for all guests. However, additional wine, beverages, and food are available for purchase if you choose. Food is also available for purchase at select vineyards.
COVID-19 Policy: Select vineyards have temporarily altered this policy due to Covid-19 and require all guests to pay for their own wine tastings upon arrival in order to perform contact tracing if necessary. In this case, the cost of your wine tastings will be backed out of the total cost due to NY Wine Tours, so that is has no impact on the total cost of your tour.
